Lisbon
Dior is unveiling an unprecedented boutique in the heart of Lisbon, on Avenida da Liberdade – the epicenter of fashion and luxury. The façade of this exceptional address, located in an emblematic building, reflects the spirit of traditional Portuguese architecture.
The different universes of the House are revealed in a pared-down decor, enhanced by Dior codes – from the Versailles parquet to the graphics of cannage. On the first and second floors, the Dior cruise 2024 collection is presented, with models celebrating the freedom and independence of Frida Kahlo. The irresistible looks and accessories are dressed in the season's motifs, such as the Butterfly Around the World print. With infinite poetry, multiple butterflies spread their wings across a range of delicate creations, including long skirts, wrap-around knits, silk twill shirts, as well as the Lady D-Lite and Panier Chapeau. This wonderful showcase also features the Dior Spring 2024 men's line thought up by Kim Jones and hosts a selection of pieces suffused with a dose of London cool, echoing Ray Petri's Buffalo movement. Like an ode to Monsieur Dior's heritage, the luminous atmosphere is reminiscent of the iconic 30 Montaigne. An elegance bathed in light hues, combining boldness and sophistication, punctuated by furniture with touches of white, ivory and blue. Inviting you to wander, these refined spaces are dappled with bewitching works by Valéria Nascimento, Bruno Ollé and Pedro Calapez. As a final surprise, a spectacular sculpture designed by Joana Vasconcelos hangs over the entire length of the twenty-metre-high staircase. An opportunity to pursue the passionate dialogue between Maria Grazia Chiuri and the Portuguese artist during the Dior ready-to-wear autumn-winter 2023-2024 show.
